Aiguille du Midi and Mer de Glace: not to be missed!
Aiguille du Midi, Mer de Glace, Vallée Blanche are three of nature's most impressive creations and here you can get right up close and touch them…
Aiguille du MidiThe téléphérique de l'Aiguille du MidiAccessible from the centre of town, the Aiguille du Midi téléphérique whisks you at speed to the very top of the Alpes. The viewing platform offers you an uninterrupted 360° view over the full range of the Alpes stretching through France, Switzerland and Italy. There is a further lift to take you to the very top at 3842m. The highest point in Europe you can reach without a serious amount of walking! Step into the voidNot for the faint hearted!!! This is a five sided glass cube stuck onto the mount with 1000m of nothing below!!! Very cool to walk (or crawl) on to and get the heart racing! The Vallée BlancheChamonix is known worldwide for its off piste skiing and glaciers… The ultimate test of your ability… the Valley blanche is far from being the hardest run but still requires a guide for safety, full equipment and a very good level of skiing and control to do. Only possible when conditions are right, the experience is magical with 23k all the way back down into town. Simply stunning, utterly remarkable and totally unforgettable…. if your powder skiing ability is good enough and you are lucky enough to be here when conditions are right – This experience is simply not to be missed!!!

Mer de GlaceThe Montenvers cog trainThis traditional cog train is in itself a wonderful experience taking you all the way up to 1913 Montenvers station. An amazing Panorama awaits you there, overlooking the Mer de Glace, and dominated by Le Drus and les Grandes Jorasses. The ice caveFrom here you can walk, or take a lift down plus 480 steps to the ice cave which has been dug directly into the ever-moving Mer de Glace. Running your hands along the smoothest of walls and admiring the ice sculptures and models inside which tell the magical story of life in the mountains over the last 200 years. Great for kids and adults alike.

Nid d'AigleThe Tramway du Mont-BlancThis is the second cog train in the valley (and seperate) with spectacular views and an utterly charmimng ride running from the very bottom of the mountain, via St Gervais and all the way to the Nid d'Aigle where the view dominates the whole valley, les Dômes de Miage and the Aiguilles de Chamonix.
